FK Crvena Zvezda are marooned at the foot of the Yugoslav first division after losing 4-3 away to FK Zeleznik on Sunday.

Quick-fire doubles
Goran Markovic had put Crvena Zvezda ahead in the 38th minute, but Zeleznik soon hit back with two goals from Ilija Radjenovic either side of half-time. The visitors regained the lead with two quick goals themselves, Marjan Markovic equalising from the penalty spot on 65 minutes and Ivan Dudic making it 3-2 three minutes later.

Markoski magic
However, once Dalibor Pesterac had restored parity on 78 minutes, Jovan Markoski stole all three points for Zeleznik with a 20-metre strike three minutes from time. Elswhere, FK Sartid and newly promoted FK Mogren played out a 2-2 draw.

Victor Vukic
Yugoslav champions FK Partizan left it late to take all three points and maintain their unbeaten run at FK Sutjeska on Saturday. The only goal of the game came two minutes from time, when Zvonimir Vukic chased a long ball into the Sutjeska penalty area and fired a low drive into the net.

Markovic mistake
Elsewhere, FK Obilic played out a dour goalless draw at FK Javor Ivanjica and FK Hajduk Kula’s Bojan Markovic had a game to forget as he sliced the ball into his own net in the dying seconds to secure a 1-0 away victory for OFK Beograd.

Nervy finish
FK Zemun's unbeaten start came to an end in an exciting 4-3 thriller at city rivals FK Cukaricki. The unmarked Ilija Stolica netted from close range for the visitors in the ninth minute before Nenad Djukanovic equalised with a fine header on the half-hour mark. A goal from Mitar Nokakovic and two from Aleksander Nedovic made it 4-1 but late strikes from Ilija Stolica and Dusan Djorkic ensured a nervy finish.

Game delayed
Crowd trouble midway through the first half caused FK Radnicki home game against FK Vojvodina to be delayed for 35 minutes with the score at 1-1. Milan Jovanovic had opened the scoring for the hosts in the 10th minute but Zoran Stevanovic quickly levelled with a fine header.

Fierce leveller
After play had resumed, Boban Stojanovic headed the home side back into the lead but Nebojsa Toplov's fierce 22-metre drive rescued a point for Vojvodina. The weekend's only other game was played on Friday night, when FK Rad were held 0-0 at home by FK Zeta.
