Diamantino returns for a second spell in charge at the Do Bonfim stadium after Campos was dismissed in the wake of Saturday's 6-2 home defeat against SL Benfica.
Fans' welcome
His return has angered some supporters. Fans placed a banner on the wall of Setúbal's stadium saying "Diamantino, you are not welcome". Diamantino will get the chance to prove his doubters wrong when Setúbal take on GD Joane in the Portuguese Cup on Wednesday.
Coaching experience
Diamantino began his coaching career with Setúbal during the 1994/95 season before spells at CD Beja, Gil Vicente FC and FC Felgueiras. He had been working as a TV commentator since leaving his last club, SC Campomaiorense, in December 2001. Setúbal are second bottom of the Super Liga with 21 points and just four wins from 23 matches.
