Champions Omonia FC were convincing winners in the only game played in Cyprus on Sunday. Omonia defeated Alki FC 3-1 at the New GSZ stadium to complete a 7-1 aggregate victory in the second round of the Cypriot Cup.
No way back for Alki
Two first-half goals from Gunter Thiebaut blocked Alki's route back into the tie before Rainer Rauffmann sealed the win in the 82nd minute. The only consolation for the home side was a 73rd-minute strike from Michalis Michael.
