FC Spartak Moscow goalkeeper Maxim Kabanov has signed a one-year loan deal with Russian first division club FC Voronezh.

'Needs more practice'
The 19-year-old goalkeeper, who appeared for Spartak twice in this season's UEFA Champions League competition, is currently second choice to Ukrainian international Maxim Levitsky. "Our talented and young goalkeeper needs more match practice," said Spartak's technical director Alexandr Shikunov. "He will play more often in the first division, and will return a better player in a year."

Sokol get Mamedov
Meanwhile, former Russian international and ex-Spartak star Ramiz Mamedov, who won five domestic titles with the club, has signed for Premier-Liga side FC Sokol Saratov. The 29-year-old defender has previously played for Spartak, FC Dynamo Kyiv and SK Sturm Graz.
