FK Viktoria Zizkov now lead the way in the 1. liga thanks to a 1-0 win over 1. FC Synot on Sunday.

FK Viktoria Zizkov are the new leaders of the 1. liga thanks to a 1-0 win over 1. FC Synot on Sunday. Ales Pikl's penalty in first-half stoppage time lifted Zizkov a point clear of AC Sparta Praha, who were made to pay for Saturday's scoreless draw at FC Príbram.

From behind
Jan Nezmar scored FC Slovan Liberec's winner in stoppage time as they came from behind to win 2-1 at SFC Opava, a result that leaves them just two points behind Sparta. Michal Slachta put the home side ahead with a 25-metre free-kick in the 22nd minute. But Martin Boncák equalised for Liberec in the 64th minute, capitalising on a mix-up at the heart of the Opava defence. Nezmar secured the win by heading home a free-kick from the left by Vaclav Kolousek.

Bohemians beaten
That result lifted Liberec above CU Bohemians Praha, who lost 2-0 at FK Drnovice thanks to strikes by Pavel Pergl and Vítezslav Tuma. FC Baník Ostrava stayed in the hunt for a European place with a 3-1 win at SK Hradec Králové, the goals coming from Martin Prohászka, Radoslav Latal and Libor Zurek.

Chmel in trouble
FK Chmel Blšany remain stuck in the relegation zone, three points behind Teplice, after a 3-1 defeat at SK Sigma Olomouc. Although Blšany took a 14th minute lead through Radek Selicha, Sigma hit back to take all three points with Lubos Reitner scoring twice and Jozef Mucha once. FC Brno's 2-0 win over FK Jablonec 97 keeps them two points behind Ostrava, Libor Dosek and Zdenek Valnoha on target during the second-half.
