Fine move
Birkirkara had gone in front on 17 minutes after a fine move between Nwoko and Matthew Calascione was finished off by Michael Galea's header past Matthew Camilleri in the Floriana goal.

In the relegation pool game, Pietà Hotspurs FC overcame late resistance to win 2-1 against Naxxar Lions FC. Paul Seaman drove past goalkeeper Omar Borg for Pietà's first after 35 minutes and a fine solo effort by Kevin Mamo doubled the advantage four minutes from time.
