Kranjcar leaves Croatian champions

NK Zagreb coach Zlatko Kranjcar has resigned after a disagreement with the club's board. Kranjcar, who claimed the Croatian title for Zagreb just six days ago, has stepped down claiming that his relationship with the club's board had become too strained to continue.

'Team in good shape'
"I am leaving the team in a good shape and I still enjoy being champions," said Kranjcar. "There is a bad atmosphere here. I wanted to discuss it with the management, but they did not seem interested." Reports have linked Kranjcar with the vacant coach's post at Austria's SK Rapid Wien.
