Vardar make a point
Vardar were unable to take full advantage, though, as they were held 2-2 at FK Rabotnicki. The Skopje side were on course to take maximum points from the City stadium until Pavel Nedelkovski denied them with an injury-time equaliser. Dragan Nacevski had put them in front on 68 minutes.
Belasica crash
Meanwhile, two first-half goals from Aleksander Toleski sent Belasica tumbling to a 3-1 reverse at Cementarnica. Late efforts from Goran Hristovski and Zoran Baldovaliev did little to change the complexion of the evening. FK Sloga Jugomagnat beat FK Pobeda 3-0 to climb above the Prilep team and into third place. Argjend Beqiri scored twice at the Chair stadium with Goran Stankoski grabbing the other.
Osogovo in decline
FK Osogovo fell towards the foot of the relegation play-off table following a 2-1 home loss to FK Kumanovo. Dragan Ivanov's late clincher left Osogovo two points above bottom club FK Makedonija Skopje, who thrashed FK Sileks 4-1. Dejan Andonov, Goran Ojlevski, Vasko Bozinovski and Boris Angelovski were the men on target at the Gorce Petrov stadium. Elsewhere, Miroslav Markovic's hat-trick condemned FK Napredok to a 5-3 defeat at FK Pelister.
