Janusz Bialek has had his contract as coach of KP Polonia Warszawa terminated.

Janusz Bialek has had his contract as coach of Polish Ekstraklasa club KP Polonia Warszawa terminated after just four months in the job.

Tuesday meeting
The decision came after a board meeting on Tuesday. Bialek and the club have agreed that when he returns from holiday on 1 December his contract with Polonia will end. The club's new caretaker coach is Bialek's assistant Krzysztof Chrobak.

Board member comments
"We have faith in Mr Chrobak," said board member Konrad Pionkowski. "He was successful in coaching youngsters at the club. If he proves his abilities there is a possibility he will stay as coach for the rest of the season."

Losses sealed fate
Polonia started the season with two wins, but soon began to struggle. The results which sealed Bialek's fate were a 4-1 loss to Legia Warszawa and a 4-0 home defeat by Wisla Kraków last weekend.
