Everything up for grabs
The two sides had shared the spoils with a goalless draw in the first leg so everything was still up for grabs when they met in Bergen for tonight's all-important second leg.
Knarvik on target
Brann had the better of the opening stages and deservedly took the lead shortly before the break when Tommy Knarvik got on the scoreboard with a terrific long-range drive.
Dramatic finish
Eighteen minutes from time, Petter Furuseth Olsen doubled the lead soon after coming on as a substitute for Armann Bjørnsson. Tom Helge Jacobsen reduced the deficit in added time to set up a dramatic finish but Brann held on to preserve their place in the top flight.
