Sporting Lokeren St-Niklaas Waaslan have signed Stabæk IF's Marel Baldvinsson for €300,000.

The 22-year-old Baldvinsson, an Under-21 international, began his career at UMF Breidablik, and is looking to follow in the footsteps of a long row of Icelandic players who have excelled in the Belgian league.
