"I'm looking forward to playing in a new country," Väisänen said. "It has looked for a while like I would move as there was demand from various countries." The 25-year-old impressed Bryne coach Reine Almquist during a training camp in Spain and the two parties have now agreed on a three-year contract.
Versatile midfield player
"Väisänen is a very versatile player, who can play in central midfiled or on the flank, and so he will replace players we have lost," Almquist said. Bryne also hope to sign Jonas Wallerstedt before the transfer window closes on 31 January.
