MTK Hungária FC stayed top of the Hungarian First Division despite being held 0-0 by MFC Sopron.
ZTE deny Ferencváros
Home side MTK created a number of chances, but were not able to fashion a winner. However, they held on to their one-point lead as Ferencvárosi TC drew 1-1 with reigning champions Zalaegerszegi TE. Visitors Ferencváros went ahead seven minutes from the end through captain Péter Lipcsei, but ZTE substitute Szabolcs Gyánó denied their opponents victory in added time.
'We took it too easy'
After the game, Ferencváros coach József Garami, whose team were set to go top until the equaliser, said: "We had the chances to have won the game and we finally scored - but we took it too easy and ZTE equalised." His opposite number Péter Bozsik, whose side lie fifth, said: "I am satisfied with this one point."
Strugglers lose
Újpesti TE beat bottom-placed Békéscsabai EFC 2-0 with goals from Tibor Tokody and Henrik Rósa to stay in fourth ahead of Debreceni VSC, who edged a 3-2 win against struggling Kispest Honvéd FC.
Videoton run continues
Elsewhere, Videoton FC Fehérvár continued their 100 per cent spring record under new coach Bertalan Bicskei as they beat Dunaferr SE 3-0 and mid-table pair Györi ETO FC and Siófok FC drew 2-2.
