Members

Omonia Nicosia FC made the Cypriot Cup semi-finals with a dramatic win against Enosis Neon Paralimniou FC.

Early drama
Omonia - trailing 2-1 from the first leg in Paralimni - were quick off the mark as Nicolas Georgiou rounded off his previous effort which came back off the crossbar with a powerful header on eight minutes. However, seven minutes later Enosis's new Cameroonian signing Nagoli Kennedy sent a long ball into the path of Demos Goumenos, who levelled the scores.

Dramatic winner
A tight game was sent into extra time when Zoran Stjepanovic unleashed a powerful shot which flew past Enosis's Slovakian keeper Pavel Kamesch in the 62nd minute. And league leaders Omonia's place in the final was secured in the 117th minute when Lefteris Kontolefteris was brought down in the box by veteran defender Marios Charalambous and captain Kostas Kaiafas converted the resulting penalty.

AEL overpower Olympiakos
In another exciting last-eight encounter, AEL Limassol FC continued their fine cup form, overturning a 2-1 deficit to also win 4-3 on aggregate against Olympiakos Nicosia FC. AEL levelled the tie in first half added time through Tommis Chrysostomou, but Olympiakos were back ahead soon after the restart courtesy of Sasa Gajser's free-kick. Chrysostomou made it 2-1 on the night with a penalty on 69 minutes and, with 15 minutes left, Alexis Garpozis headed AEL decisively ahead.

Anorthosis survive scare
Holders Anorthosis Famagusta FC, 4-0 ahead from the first lead against AEK Larnaca FC, fell two goals behind in the return before securing a 2-2 draw. Georgos Kounoussis and Greek playmaker Kostas Frantzeskos had given AEK hope by the 40-minute mark, but defenders Nicos Nicolaou and Petros Konnafis scored to ensure there would be no dramatic comeback.

APOEL progress
In the other quarter-final, APOEL Nicosia FC played out a 0-0 draw at home to last season's beaten finalists Ethnikos Achnas FC to progress 2-0 on aggregate.
