Hammarby IF continue to set the pace in the Allsvenskan following a 2-1 victory over Malmö FF.
Bakircioglü double
Marcus Rosenborg opened the scoring for the visitors on 19 minutes with his first goal of the season. Hammarby equalised just before half-time when Kenedy Bakircioglü scored from the penalty spot after Daniel Majstorovic fouled Max von Schlebrügge. A second Bakircioglü penalty in the second half secured the win.
Champions second
Djurgårdens IF moved up to second spot on Tuesday, one point behind Hammarby after five matches, with a 3-1 win over IFK Göteborg. The champions struggled during a tight first-half against Bo Johansson’s revitalised side, but their pressure told on 70 minutes when Johan Elmander fired the home side ahead.
First for Diallo
IFK Göteborg, however, hit back just five minutes later when Senegalese substitute Mamadou Diallo struck his first Allsvenskan goal. The visiting side looked likely to hold on for a point until Kim Källström scored with four minutes to play and the points were made safe when Rene Makondele added a third in injury time.
Impressive saves
AIK Solna remain three points behind Hammarby in third place after a 1-0 win at Östers IF where goalkeeper Håkan Svensson was the hero for the visitors, making a string of impressive saves. However, it was Andreas Andersson who finally broke the deadlock in the 79th minute.
Nervous finale
Halmstads BK overcame Enköpings SK 3-2 in an incident-packed game. Halmstad opened the scoring after only two minutes through Sharbel Touma only for Enköpings to equalise eleven minutes later. Igor Sypniewski and substitute Patrik Ingelsten then put Halmstads into a commanding lead but they were forced to negotiate a nervous finale after Johan Walliner pulled a goal back after 79 minutes.
First-half goals
IF Elfsborg and GIF Sundsvall drew 2-2, with all the goals coming in the first half. Striker Fredrik Berglund scored twice for Elfsborg while Tom Kåre Staurvik and Mattias Throsell were on target for Sundsvall. Örgryte IS secured a 1-1 draw against Landskronas BoIS, while it finished goalless between Helsingborg IF and Örebro SK.
