Article body
Ill-advised comments
Schuster was dismissed after just 20 days in charge after making some ill-advised comments to a journalist about Bernd Hölzenbein, a candidate for the position of general manager at the club. Eintracht's supervisory board felt the 60-year-old had damaged the club's image.
Montero leaves
Newly promoted Frankfurt, who are currently 16th in the Bundesliga with just one point from four matches, have also terminated Montero's contract by mutual agreement. The 29-year-old Spaniard, who had a year remaining on his deal, was suspended two weeks ago after missing a training session because he had been drinking. He has now joined second division Rot-Weiss Oberhausen on a two-year contract.
No general manager
Eintracht have been without a general manager since the 2001/02 season when Tony Woodcock left the club.
