Croatia forward Ivica Mornar has joined Portsmouth FC from Belgian league leaders RSC Anderlecht in a deal reported to be worth nearly €600,000.
No agreement
The 30-year-old striker recently turned down an offer that would have kept him in Brussels until 2006. No agreement could be reached and Anderlecht, who signed Mornar from R. Standard de Liège, allowed him to leave in order to collect a transfer fee. He has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Portsmouth, who are 17th in the English Premiership.
