Flavio has taste for Galatasaray

The 30-year-old, who spent last season on loan at BV Borussia Dortmund, was part of the Madrid squad that won the 2001/02 UEFA Champions League having joined in 2000 from RC Deportivo La Coruña. Galatasray president Özhan Canaydin told the club's official website: "I would like to announce that we have agreed terms with Conceiçao. Let this signing prove fruitful for the club."

He is expected to arrive in Istanbul at the end of this month, having joined a side who finished sixth in the Turkish Superleague last season, and will not compete in Europe for the first time in 15 years.
