Members

Croatian international defender Stjepan Tomas has joined Galatasaray SK on a one-year contract.

Title winner
The 28-year-old, who was a non-playing member of Croatia's UEFA EURO 2004™ squad, said: "I want to thank the president, the officials and coach Gheorghe Hagi. I will do my best to help Galatasaray achieve success in their centenary year." Tomas had a significant role in Fenerbahçe's title success last term, making 27 league appearances, but coach Christoph Daum decided against pursuing his signature on a permanent basis.

Spell in Italy
Tomas was a mainstay of the NK Dinamo Zagreb defence in the 1990s, when the club won five league titles and three Croatian Cups. In 2000, he moved to Italian side Vicenza Calcio and following a two-year spell there, joined Como ahead of the 2002/03 season. Tomas made his international debut against Poland in 1998 and was in Croatia's 2002 FIFA World Cup team.
