RC Strasbourg coach Jacky Duguépéroux will stay at the club for the next two years after agreeing to extend his contract on Saturday.
Cup winners
Duguépéroux led Stasbourg to took over from Antoine Kombouaré in October 2004 and helped lift the club from the bottom of Ligue 1 to its current position of 12th. Strasbourg qualified for next season’s Uefa Cup by winning the French League Cup in April, defeating SM Caen at the Stade de France.
Playing career
Duguépéroux has enjoyed a successful association with Strasbourg, winning the French league title there as a player in 1979 and the League Cup as coach seven years ago, before emulating that triumph last month.
