Gretna FC have continued their preparations for the first round of next season's UEFA Cup with the signing of midfielder Neil MacFarlane from Aberdeen FC.

Scottish Cup runners-up Gretna FC have continued their preparations for the first round of next season's UEFA Cup with the signing of midfielder Neil MacFarlane from Aberdeen FC.

Second signing
The 28-year-old former Heart of Midlothian FC player has become Gretna's second summer recruit following the addition of Irish winger Brendan McGill from English neighbours Carlisle United AFC. Gretna will be looking to reach the Scottish Premier League in 2006/07 after winning promotion in the last two seasons since the arrival of millionaire owner Brookes Mileson.
