Villain to hero
Twenty points clear at the top of the Prva Liga and with the title already secured, Dinamo took a 1-0 lead from the home leg of the final with Slaven but fell behind in the 68th minute as Gordon Schildenfeld handled in the penalty area and midfielder Miljenko Mumlek made no mistake with the resulting spot-kick. With no extra time scheduled, the prospect of a penalty shoot-out was looming as the match entered the 89th minute, only for Schildenfeld to redeem himself by heading in Dario Jertec's cross to give Dinamo the trophy. "After we conceded the goal I was the saddest player on the pitch; after I scored I was the happiest," said the Dinamo defender. "This is the most important goal of my career."
