Morgan De Sanctis has left SSC Napoli after four seasons and signed a two-year contract with AS Roma.
The departure of the 36-year-old goalkeeper follows the confirmation of Pepe Reina's arrival on loan at Napoli from Liverpool FC. "Roma reached an agreement with Napoli to sign Morgan De Sanctis on a permanent basis for a €500,000 fee," read a statement on Roma's official website.
A reserve goalkeeper for Italy at UEFA EURO 2012, he made 147 Serie A outings for Napoli and has also played for Pescara Calcio, Juventus, Udinese Calcio, Sevilla FC and Galatasaray AŞ over the course of a 19-year club career.
