Aston Villa FC got the better of West Bromwich Albion FC in an FA Cup quarter-final Midlands derby, while Reading FC earned a replay against Bradford City AFC.

FA Cup quarter-finals
• Aston Villa FC beat Midlands rivals West Bromwich Albion FC 2-0 in Birmingham to reach the semi-finals.
• Fabian Delph puts Villa in front on 51 minutes with a powerful left-footed shot.
• Scott Sinclair doubles the lead on the counterattack after West Brom's Claudio Yacob is dismissed.
• Villa substitute Jack Grealish sent off late on.
• Bradford City AFC face a replay against second-tier rivals Reading FC following a goalless draw at Valley Parade.
• Pavel Pogrebnyak hit woodwork for Reading, while a Gary Liddle shot found the frame of the goal for Bradford.
• Draw for semi-finals takes place on Monday.
