FC Nantes Atlantique won their fifth game in six by beating Olympique de Marseille on Sunday.

FC Nantes Atlantique chalked up their fifth Le Championnat win in six games by fighting back from a goal down to beat Olympique de Marseille on Sunday.

Shock opener
The home fans had been shocked when Wilfred Dalmat, on loan from Nantes, cut in from the right to give Marseille the lead on 25 minutes. But ten minutes later parity was restored when Mathieu Berson’s 20-metre effort found the net after taking a deflection off Stefano Torrisi, who was making his Marseille debut having joined on loan from Italian club Parma AC last week.

Torrisi tragedy
Things went from bad to worse for Torrisi five minutes before half-time when he headed past his own goalkeeper to give Nantes the lead. Berson completed the scoring by adding his second and the home side’s third just seconds before the break.
