KSC Eendracht Aalst have fired their coach Manu Ferrera less than a year after appointing him to lead the struggling Eerste Klasse team.
Survival struggle
Ferrera took over at Eendracht in April 2001 after coaching R. Charleroi SC. He leaves them languishing second from the bottom of the 18-club division, with only 15 points from 20 matches. "We haven’t had any good results in recent matches which has prompted the club to fire Ferrera," said club director Filip Persoons.
Limpens in charge
Persoons also announced that assistant coach Luc Limpens, who joined Eendracht two months ago, would be in temporary charge of the first team.
