FC Dinamo Bucuresti have signed Costel Ilie from FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt in a deal worth €115,000.
No24 shirt
The 27-year-old Ilie has signed a three-and-a-half year contract with Dinamo, who will pay half of the transfer fee up front and the remainder in April. Ilie, who will earn around €35,000 a year at the Bucharest club, will wear the No24 shirt vacated by Adrian Mihalcea who, together with Valentin Nastase, left for Genoa 1893 last month.
Terms of the transfer
Ilie spent five-and-a-half years with Ceahlaul, making 161 appearances and scoring 23 goals. If he fails to settle at Dinamo, the terms of the deal allow for him to rejoin Ceahlaul, who will return half of the transfer money. Should the midfield player remain at Dinamo, however, he will be co-owned by the two clubs, meaning that Ceahlaul will receive half of any transfer fee if Ilie moves abroad.
