NK Zagreb moved eight points clear at the top of the table with a resounding 3-0 win on Saturday.

NK Zagreb moved eight points clear at the top of the table with today's resounding 3-0 defeat of HNK Šibenik.

Zagreb in command
Šibenik could not restrain Zagreb and Marijo Osibov opened the scoring for the leaders after 17 minutes before Damir Milinovic doubled their advantage eleven minutes later. Antonio Franja put the icing on the cake four minutes from time with Zagreb's third, sending Šibenik tumbling to second bottom in the process.

Varteks go second
With NK Dinamo Zagreb and HNK Hadjuk Split not in action, NK Varteks took advantage to move into second place with a 2-1 win over HNK Cibalia. Danijel Hrman grabbed the winner just two minutes from time after Domagoj Abramovic had got the visitors back on terms following Miljenko Mumlek's opener.

Topolovac sink further
At the bottom, TŠK Topolovac fell even further behind the rest of the league after a 4-1 defeat at NK Osijek. Dobranjic equalised Josip Balatinac's early opener but Mate Neretljak put the hosts 2-1 up on the stroke of half-time and Dejan Pavlicic's two goals sealed their fate.

Papuk move up
Meanwhile, NK Papuk Kamen Ingrad Venika, second bottom before the start of play, moved above Šibenik with a 1-0 win at NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac, Josko Popovic scoring the only goal of the game.

Zadarkomerc win away
NK Zadarkomerc also recorded an impressive away victory, 3-2 at NK Marsonia, to move away from the bottom of the league thanks to Tomislav Gondzic's last-minute winner. HNK Rijeka came back from two down at home to NK Pomorac to draw 2-2 thanks to two goals from Andre Mijatovic, while NK Slaven Belupo beat NK Cakovec 2-0.
