Wales round-up: Late joy for Llansantffraid

TNS Llansantffraid FC scored twice in the last 21 minutes to beat Connah's Quay Nomads FC and reduce Bangor City FC's  League of Wales lead to two points.

Wilde scores
Visitors Connah's Quay had gone close when Jon Kenworthy had a fine header saved by goalkeeper Dean Williams, but substitute Mike Wilde and Scott Ruscoe were on hand to give Llansantffraid the points.
 
Leaders held
Bangor failed to win for only the second time this season as they were held at home by struggling Oswestry Town FC, who even took the lead on 29 minutes through Steve Rogers. Alan Goodall and former Manchester United FC player Clayton Blackmore turned the game for Bangor in five second-half minutes, but further home chances went begging and Rogers gave Oswestry a point four minutes from time, although his side still moved into bottom place.

Davies double
Flexys Cefn Druids AFC secured a 4-0 win at home to lowly Llanelli FC to move into mid-table. Mike Davies scored twice before the break, and Ricky Jones and Danny Desmoreux  both added second-half goals. Only good goalkeeping from Greg Evans kept Llanelli within four goals of their hosts, the visitors also having Nick Palmer sent-off late on for a professional foul.
 
Strugglers win
Haverfordwest County AFC improved their plight at the bottom of the table with a vital 3-1 home victory over Caernarfon Town FC, while Caersws FC also gained relief with a first maximum of the season, beating Welshpool Town AFC 3-1 after coming from behind.

Joy for Newtown
Newtown AFC also caused a surprise too as they secured all three points at Port Talbot Town FC, winning 2-0 with second-half strikes from Chris Adamson and Justin Wickham, as Rhyl FC shared the points with Afan Lido FC 2-2.
