UEFA Europa League Fan Festival to take place in Budapest in the lead up to the final

The festival will run on Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 May at Heroes’ Square.

In the lead up to this season’s UEFA Europa League final, which will see Sevilla FC play AS Roma at Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary on 31 May 2023 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), the Hungarian capital will offer fans, visitors and city dwellers a festive football spirit with an abundance of entertainment activities and much more at the UEFA Europa League Fan Festival, taking place at Heroes’ Square (Hősök tere), one of the landmark locations in the heart of city.

The two-day celebration will open on Tuesday 30 May from 11:00 to 23:00 and on Wednesday 31 May from 11:00 to 18:00. The festival is open to all ages and free to attend, including visitors without a match ticket.

As part of the entertainment on offer, fans will be able to take a picture with the iconic UEFA Europa League trophy, see a display of shirts, giant jerseys, freestylers and participate in multiple football skills stations.

The pitch programme will feature football action on a 5-a-side mini-pitch, including grassroots and disability football matches and a match between Hungarian and UEFA legends.

Exciting activations from UEFA commercial partners will offer the chance to win giveaways through a variety of interactive games and activities, while local DJs will perform live on stage on both days.

To further highlight the festive football spirit in the host city, two giant UEFA Europa League trophies will be displayed from 29 May to 1 June in two different locations, at St. Stephen’s Square (Szent István tér) and by the Fisherman’s Bastion at Trinity Square (Halászbástya).
