Town Hall ceremony
The launch ceremony will take place at the Town Hall in Albert Square, Manchester at 11.30am local time (12.30CET). This season's climax to European club football's most prestigious competition will be held at the Old Trafford stadium in the English city on Wednesday 28 May 2003.
Celebrity presence
UEFA said that former Manchester United FC and England star Sir Bobby Charlton and United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had been invited to occupy the podium at the launch ceremony, alongside Councillor Roy Walters, representing the City of Manchester, and UEFA communications and public affairs director Mike Lee.
