CSKA look to the future

PFC CSKA Moskva coach Valeri Gazzaev has snapped up promising young striker Aleksandr Antipenko.

Five-year contract
The 21-year-old Russian has attracted plenty of attention after scoring 12 goals in 20 matches this season for first division club FC Kristall Smolensk. Antipenko has signed a five-year contract with the capital club, who will play in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

Loan possible
Antipenko may well be loaned to FK Khimki to gain more experience before being called to aid CSKA's cause. At Khimki, he would be reunited with former Kristall coach Dmitri Galyamin.
