Schwegler out for Grasshoppers

Grasshopper-Club have lost Roland Schwegler for their UEFA Champions League qualifier against AEK Athens FC.

Torn ligaments
The 21-year-old right back, who played his part in Grasshoppers' championship win last season, has torn ligaments in his left foot and could be sidelined for six weeks. He will miss Wednesday's home leg against Greek side AEK and the return fixture a fortnight later.

No operation
Schwegler suffered the injury after being fouled in Friday night's league match against Servette FC. The Swiss Under-21 international is not expected to need surgery on the injury.

Magro returns
Meanwhile, Grasshoppers have had better news with the return of attacking midfield player Feliciano Magro from Italian football. The 24-year-old has come back to Zurich after spending last season on loan at Udinese Calcio, where he failed to make a single Serie A appearance.
