Solari deal collapsed
Madrid signed Ronaldo in a €35m deal, which also included an agreement for the Spanish club to either release a player to Inter or pay an additional €10m. Inter were expected to sign Santiago Solari last January but the deal collapsed.
Right to appeal
A FIFA spokesman said: "At the FIFA Players' Status Committee meeting on 30 October, a decision was taken on the case regarding the transfer of Ronaldo from Inter Milan to Real Madrid. It was decided that Real Madrid has no legitimate reason for not complying with its contractual obligations to Inter Milan." Madrid have the right to lodge an appeal to FIFA's executive committee within 20 days.
