However, the midfield player was still serving a two-match ban for his sending-off in a UEFA Intertoto Cup tie for former club Nea Salamis FC against FK Austria Wien on 8 July 2000.
Friday verdict UEFA's Control and Disciplinary Body will make a decision on PAOK's punishment tomorrow. The Greek club have until 16.00CET today to submit a statement highlighting their side of the story.
