Quaresma gunning for Arsenal

Ricardo Quaresma is confident that FC Porto can secure a fourth straight victory when Arsenal FC visit in their decisive final Group G game next week.

Winning run
Arsenal and Porto have ten points at the top of their UEFA Champions League pool and will qualify with a draw provided PFC CSKA Moskva, two points behind in third place, fail to beat Hamburger SV in Germany. After winning away to CSKA on Matchday 5, however, Porto will go into the match confident of securing a fourth straight victory in the competition.

'Hard match'
Quaresma, who scored the Portuguese champions' opening goal in Moscow, told uefa.com: "Arsenal have a very strong squad with great players but we're not concerned about that. The game against Arsenal will be very hard but we will do what we always do - we will go into the match looking to win.

High on confidence
"We have some great players in our squad," continued Quaresma and the statistics certainly show a team high on confidence. Jesualdo Ferreira's Portuguese Liga leaders have scored nine goals in their last three UEFA Champions League games and are coming into form when it matters most. "Each victory gives us more confidence and raises our spirit. It shows that our quality can determine matches," Quaresma, 23, said.

Different proposition
With Arsenal struggling away from home in the English Premiership, hopes are high in Porto that they can make amends for their 2-0 defeat in London on Matchday 2. "Obviously it will be a very difficult match, but we will be at home with the support of our fans," said Quaresma. "The win in Moscow has given us confidence and the next match against Arsenal will be very different for sure."
