Is Deco up to the challenge?

Find out how FC Barcelona and Portugal playmaker Deco negotiates the test of the Corners Challenge, exclusively on the UEFA Training Ground.

Portugal's Deco has enjoyed a glittering career, winning the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup with FC Porto before going on to lift European club football's premier prize again at FC Barcelona in 2006. Watch the little magician as he shows the UEFA Training Ground – exclusively – how to perform some of the skills that resulted in him twice being voted Best Midfielder at the UEFA Club Football Awards.

Corners challenge
It comes as no surprise, perhaps, that Deco was born in Brazil, but for all his Samba skills, is the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year for 2004 up to the Corners Challenge? The playmaker has to score as many times as he can from the corner flag in a true test of his accuracy with a dead ball. Find out how the 30-year-old Portuguese international does via uefa.com/trainingground.

Big names
Deco's examination is the latest in a series of Star Challenges and Star Skills sessions involving the greatest array of footballing talent ever assembled for a learning-based website. The UEFA Training Ground, from uefa.com, aims to inform and educate players and coaches of all ages and qualities. The site has recruited such UEFA Champions League luminaries as FC Internazionale Milano's Zlatan Ibrahimović and AC Milan's Andrea Pirlo, alongside top coaches Roy Hodgson and Lars Lagerbäck, in giving the most comprehensive guide to skills and tactics seen on the internet.

Forthcoming attractions
While uefa.com/trainingground already hosts more than 80 videos, users can expect to see several new and exciting items in the coming weeks including Star Skills by Deco and Adriano and the beginning of two fascinating series' following the Northern Ireland Eastern Region side at the UEFA Regions' Cup in Bulgaria and the Germany team at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Austria last summer.
