PFC CSKA Moskva will finish their UEFA Champions League campaign against Fenerbahçe SK without a string of key players, with Brazilian strikers Jô and Vágner Love the latest additions to their absentee list.
Absenses
Jô has been sent home to Brazil to continue treatment for a knee problem, while Vágner Love has a leg injury and has also left the training camp in Xanthi, Greece. CSKA press officer Sergei Aksionov said: "[Vágner Love] has been in pain for a long time. The coaching staff hoped he would recover for the Fenerbahçe match, but after it turned out that health does not allow him to prepare for the match, a decision to send him to Moscow was taken. Vágner Love is currently at the club base in Moscow, training with a physio under an individual programme."
Eliminated
CSKA, who will finish fourth in Group G regardless of Wednesday's result in Istanbul, were already were without suspended central midfielders Dudu and Elvir Rahimić. They also have doubts over Miloš Krasić due to a toe injury and Daniel Carvalho is a concern for what would be his last game before his CSKA contract expires.
