The 32-year-old pulled up after suffering pain in the right knee on which he underwent surgery in April. Totti, who has only played five times in all competitions this season, is definitely out of Saturday's Serie A encounter with Juventus and is not expected to return for the visit of the Group A leaders. Roma are third in the section on three points, four behind the Londoners. "We're trying everything to help him recover," said Giallorossi coach Luciano Spalletti. "We made him rest for a while and he was able to play a few games in a row. Today, however, he felt pain again and he cannot play when it's as bad as this." There was some cheer for Spalletti, whose team are 16th in Serie A, when Júlio Baptista was passed fit to face Juve after recovering from a thigh injury. The Brazilian forward last appeared on 5 October.
