AS Roma will be without defender Christian Panucci on Wednesday as they look to avenge their Matchday 1 defeat against CFR 1907 Cluj in Romania, with the 35-year-old saying: "It's nothing serious but I could not train with the rest of the team."
Knee problem
Panucci missed the 3-0 win against US Lecce on Sunday with a slight knee injury, and while he does not expect any long-term problems, he will not play in the Group A match in Romania. "It's nothing serious but I could not train with the rest of the team and I will not recover in time for the game in Romania," he said. Roma are currently second in their section, one point behind Chelsea FC and two above CFR, who beat them 2-1 in Rome in their opening 2008/09 UEFA Champions League game.
