Rubin tempt Poland star Murawski

UEFA Champions League group-stage debutants FC Rubin Kazan have signed Polish international midfielder Rafał Murawski from KKS Lech Poznań in a reported €3m transfer.

'Fruitful talks'
The 27-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Russian champions and Radosław Osuch, Murawski's agent, told uefa.com: "We had talks in Vienna this weekend and it was very fruitful. This is a big opportunity for the player who will now have the chance to play in the Champions League, which has always been his dream." Murawski joined Lech in 2006 after spells with KS Amica Wronki and Arka Gdynia, making 83 league appearances and scoring eight goals. He has won 19 caps for Poland since his debut three years ago.
