#UCLfantasy Tipster: Paolo's team

Kamil Glik came to Paolo Menicucci's rescue on matchday two; the search is on for a player who will deliver the goods next time out.

Do you have a player – not Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi – who you would always have in your team no matter what? Well, I do, and he scored a wonderful goal for my team on matchday two!

Kamil Glik's thunderous, last-gasp volley for Monaco was certainly the highlight for me in last round, which brought me 55 points. Nothing spectacular but Glik's goal made my day anyway.

I was also happy to have two top goalkeepers in my team; Manuel Neuer conceded one goal but Hugo Lloris brought six precious points with a clean sheet for Tottenham. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for my defenders as none of them had clean-sheet points. Glik's goal and Aleksandar Kolarov's assist, however, limited the damage.

Midfield was my weakest link last round with Bayern's Arturo Vidal bringing my side 0 points after collecting a yellow card and conceding a penalty against Atlético Madrid. I'm confident he will make amends when Bayern host PSV Eindhoven in their next game.

The European Qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup also gave me confidence as Sami Khedira found the net for Germany and André Silva scored a first-half hat-trick for Portugal. I hope they will start scoring in the UEFA Champions League as well.

My attack, meanwhile, delivered. Edinson Cavani scored two for Paris against Ludogorets, Luis Suárez made an assist and Paulo Dybala (my captain) scored with a wonderful strike from distance as Juventus won 4-0 at Dinamo Zagreb.

As I write, my team has no major injury concerns. In the next two rounds teams will face the same opponents home and away so I may use my only 'free' substitution to get a player who has a bigger chance of scoring.

Suárez's Barcelona face Manchester City twice and I could consider replacing him with a Real Madrid striker, as the reigning champions play Legia, who have conceded eight goals in two games so far. I would love to have Ronaldo but he costs €0.5m more than Suárez – and €0.5m more than I have to spend! Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema, however, are great options too.
