Lionel Messi (Barcelona, FW, €12.0m)
Twelve goals in just nine club appearances in all competitions this season, AND he's hit the woodwork six times. Got a goal and an assist in his previous visit to Sporting, and could well add to that tally this week.
Harry Kane (Tottenham, FW, €10.0m)
Having scored twice on matchday one against a usually resilient Borussia Dortmund defence, the England striker comes into this one in red-hot UEFA Champions League form. Facing obliging opposition in APOEL, who shipped three at Real Madrid last time out, makes Kane perfect captaincy material.
Álvaro Morata (Chelsea, FW, €10.0m)
The Spaniard returns to his hometown to face Atlético Madrid in something of a purple patch: Morata has already scored three goals in the Premier League this season, although is yet to find the net in six competitive games against Los Colchoneros. The striker will be itching to break his duck and, in a game likely to be decided by fine margins, Morata's intelligent movement and predatory instincts could prove crucial.
Cenk Tosun (Beşiktaş, FW, €7.5m)
His wonder strike at Porto won Goal of the Week on matchday one, but the striker is more than a one-hit wonder. With five goals in eight games for club and country this season, Tosun is established as Beşiktaş' first-choice striker and could profit from Leipzig's inexperience at this level.
Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid, FW, €12.0m)
After bagging two goals on matchday one, Real Madrid will once again look to Ronaldo for inspiration. The UEFA Champions League all-time top goalscorer has form against Dortmund, netting four in six competition meetings with the German side, and opened the scoring when the two teams met at this stage last season in their 2-2 draw. A must-have.
Edinson Cavani (Paris, FW, €11.0m)
Already off the mark with two goals against Celtic on matchday one, the Uruguay forward remains Paris's most likely goal threat. The French side face a real test at home to Bayern, but Cavani has struck ten times in his last 13 UEFA Champions League games at the Parc des Princes.
Robert Lewandowksi (Bayern, FW, €11.0m)
If you don't fancy Cavani, what about an opposition player? With ten goals in eight competitive games for Bayern this season, including one against Anderlecht on matchday one, the Poland international is in fine early-season form. He has also converted all three of his penalty kicks this season.
Radamel Falcao (Monaco, FW, 9.5m)
He may have been kept quiet by Leipzig on matchday one, but the Colombian international has been unstoppable in Ligue 1, scoring a remarkable nine goals in just six games this season. The Monaco skipper will have added motivation on Tuesday as he takes on Porto, the only other club he's played for in the UEFA Champions League. Falcao's 17 UEFA Europa League goals propelled the Portuguese club to that trophy in 2011.
Paulo Dybala (Juventus, FW, €9.5m)
Has scored ten goals in seven games this season, including two Serie A hat-tricks, and the Argentinian forward will be a man with a mission against Olympiacos after losing the duel with his country fellowman Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou on matchday one.
Edin Džeko (Roma, FW, €10.5m)
Drew a blank against Atlético, with four goals in two Serie A outings. He's getting increasingly used to new coach Eusebio Di Francesco's style of play and will be looking to open his Champions League account in style in what is, on paper, Roma's easiest group fixture against Qarabağ.
Quincy Promes (Spartak, MF, €7.0m)
Started the season at breakneck speed with five goals in the first seven Russian Premier League games, and got another in the domestic Super Cup, but had been on a lean run with just one in his last seven appearances for club and country, until he struck twice in last week's Russian Cup game at Kuban. Could that herald a return to scoring form?
