Atlético and Real Madrid confirm media activities

Real Madrid CF and Club Atlético de Madrid have announced details of their media open days and pre-match press conferences ahead of the 24 May Lisbon final.

Real Madrid CF and Club Atlético de Madrid have confirmed details of their media open days ahead of the UEFA Champions League final at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica in Lisbon on 24 May.

Atlético's open day will take place at the Estadio Vicente Calderón (accreditation collection at Gate 55) on 19 May. Proceedings will start at 18.15 with a press conference with coach Diego Simeone at the Palco VIP lounge. A fully open training session will then be held at 19.00, followed by a mixed zone from 20.15. Media wishing to attend are required to send an email to tcalvo@clubatleticodemadrid.com. The deadline to apply is 17 May.

Real Madrid will hold their open day on 20 May, beginning with a fully open training session at their Valdebebas training ground at 10.30. It will be followed by a press conference and mixed zone. Media wishing to attend must register at prensa@realmadrid.es. The deadline for applications is 12.00 on 16 May. One-to-one interview opportunities will be available for UEFA Champions League rights-holding broadcasters but need to be requested in advance.

The clubs have also announced their pre-match media activities at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica on Friday 23 May. Atlético will stage their press conference with Simeone and two players from 17.15, followed by an open training session at 18.00. Real Madrid will have their press conference with coach Carlo Ancelotti and two players at 18.45, followed by an open training session from 19.30.
