Deportivo wait on Capdevila

Muscle tear
The 26-year-old left-back played the full 90 minutes of Saturday's 2-1 defeat at FC Barcelona but an MRI scan conducted today has detected a small tear to his right thigh muscle. Deportivo's head of medical services, César Cobián, estimates that Capdevila will be sidelined for the next two weeks while the tear heals.

Remote chance
The player has a remote chance of recovering in time for Depor's visit to Group A leaders Olympiacos on 23 November. The Galician side are in desperate need of a win to stay alive in the competition as, with two points from their first four matches, they are rooted to the bottom of the table.
