'Dream come true'
The 24-year-old admitted it was a "dream come true" to join his country's domestic champions on a four-year deal after 71 appearances for Obilic. "Ever since I was little I have wanted to play for Partizan," Djordjevic said. "I am totally motivated and I will do my best to help Partizan qualify for the [UEFA] Champions League."
'Stability and calm'
Partizan director Nenad Bjekovic said of the transfer: "We have been following him for a long time. We need him to bring stability and calm to our defence. He is young but experienced - Djordjevic is the player we wanted."
Swedish opposition
Capped six times by Serbia and Montenegro, Djordjevic and his new team-mates will meet Swedish side Djurgårdens IF in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round. Meanwhile, defender Dragoljub Jeremić has extended his contract by four years.
