GOALKEEPERS

In contrast to Matchday 9, when none of the eight goalkeepers managed to keep a clean sheet, there were a couple of success stories this time around. With Bayern shutting out Arsenal, Manuel Neuer (€5.9m) was the only goalkeeper not to concede on Matchday 10, the German international also making three saves on his way to seven points. Neuer is only owned by 6% of Fantasy managers and is part of a Bayern team that have conceded in just two of their last six Champions League games.

Owners of Andriy Lunin (€4.8m) could not have asked for much more from the Real Madrid keeper on Matchday 10. Despite conceding at Manchester City, Lunin made an incredible 11 saves against last season's European champions, which proved integral to their eventual progression via penalties.

DEFENDERS

Raphaël Guerreiro (€5.0m) has long been renowned for his attacking returns, but given that he was fielded in an advanced midfield position on Matchday 10, his stock as a Fantasy asset is further enhanced. The former Dortmund player picked up both an assist and a clean sheet against Arsenal, which helped him accumulate nine points – more than any other Fantasy defender in the second legs.

Dortmund left-back Ian Maatsen (€4.7m) is fast becoming a valuable Fantasy asset and rewarded his owners with eight points on Matchday 10. The 22-year-old Dutchman, on loan from Chelsea, was on the scoresheet against Atlético de Madrid, contributing to what was an enthralling contest in which Dortmund progressed. Team-mate Mats Hummels (€5.2m), despite losing two points for scoring an own goal, ended up on five Fantasy points due to an assist and nine ball recoveries. The veteran centre-back is way out on his own with 99 ball recoveries over the course of this Champions League campaign, and has amassed more Fantasy points (63) than any other defender.

Paris's Achraf Hakimi (€6.1m) logged his second Champions League attacking return of the season in the victory at Barcelona, while the Bayern back line all benefitted from keeping Arsenal at bay. Of those Eric Dier (€4.5m), who has played every minute of Bayern's last three European games, is the cheapest option heading into the semi-final stage.

MIDFIELDERS

Assets from German teams were once again the stars on Matchday 10. Dortmund's Marcel Sabitzer (€5.5m), largely overlooked by Fantasy managers, achieved the highest individual score of the matchday with 14 points. The Austrian was directly involved in three of his side's four goals, and has now recorded five assists in the Champions League this season – more than any other player. Fellow Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt (€7.5m) delivered a goal and Player of the Match award to finish on 11 points.

Matching Brandt's 11 total was Bayern stalwart Joshua Kimmich (€6.6m), who scored the only goal against Arsenal. Kimmich was rewarded with his second Player of the Match award of the 2023/24 Champions League, and of all the midfielders still remaining in the competition, only Jude Bellingham (€8.0m) has accumulated more points overall.

Paris's Vitinha (€6.1m) caught the eye in both legs against Barcelona, scoring in both matches, his Matchday 10 strike from outside the box earning him an extra point. Vitinha, who features in just 4% of Fantasy teams, is on 46 points overall.

FORWARDS

Paris pair Ousmane Dembélé (€8.0m) and Kylian Mbappé (€11.7m) were the highest-scoring Fantasy forwards in the second legs. Dembélé's 11 points came from a goal, winning a penalty and being named the Player of the Match against Barcelona, while Mbappé's two goals means he leads the Champions League scoring charts with eight.

Although Vinícius Júnior (€11.1m) is the more highly-owned Real Madrid striker on Fantasy, it was team-mate Rodrygo (€9.2m) who found the net at Manchester City. Among forwards still involved, only Harry Kane (€10.2m) and Mbappé have earned more Fantasy points over the course of the season.

Fantasy managers looking to fill their forward slots in the semi-finals could consider Niclas Füllkrug (€7.5m). Aside from an appealing price, the German striker scored against Atlético de Madrid on Matchday 10 and has recorded three other attacking returns in Dortmund's run to their first semi-final in 11 years.
