Buoyed by their first win in this season's UEFA Champions League, Juventus will look to make it successive victories when debutants Pafos travel to Turin on Matchday 6.

Last match

This is the first match between the teams.

Juventus have won all six games against teams from Cyprus, scoring 25 goals and conceding three. This is their first fixture since beating Omonoia 5-2 away and 5-0 at home in the 1999/2000 UEFA Cup first round.

The Bianconeri have scored 13 goals in their three home matches against Cypriot visitors, conceding only one.

Pafos have faced an Italian club only once before – a 3-2 defeat at Fiorentina on Matchday 4 of last season's UEFA Conference League.

Juventus

Juventus are making their 25th appearance in the Champions League proper – extending their Italian record.

The Bianconeri were 20th in last season's league phase (W3 D3 L2), losing to PSV Eindhoven in the knockout phase play-offs (2-1 h, 1-3 a aet).

Juve parted company with coach Igor Tudor on 27 October, appointing Luciano Spalletti three days later.

Pafos

Pafos are in the Champions League for the first time. They took part in UEFA competition for the first time in 2024/25, losing to Elfsborg in the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round but going on to reach the Conference League round of 16.

Juan Carlos Carcedo's side are the third team from Cyprus to reach the Champions League proper after APOEL (four times) and Anorthosis Famagusta (once) and the first since APOEL in 2017/18.

Pafos were crowned Cypriot champions for the first time in 2024/25.

Key stats

Having snatched a 3-2 victory at Bodø/Glimt on Matchday 5 thanks to Jonathan David's 91st-minute winner, Juventus are aiming to win successive Champions League games for the first time since beating PSV Eindhoven and Leipzig in their first two fixtures last season.

The Bianconeri have lost only two of their last 11 home European games (W5 D4), drawing both this season.

Juventus have conceded the first goal in all their five league phase matches this season; their record is W1 D3 L1.

A 1-5 home defeat by Bayern München on Matchday 2 is Pafos' only loss in 11 Champions League matches this season (W5 D5).

Indeed, Pafos have lost only two of their last 17 European fixtures (W8 D7).

Like Juve, Pafos have drawn three of their first five league phase games (W1 D1), most recently twice coming from behind at home to Monaco on Matchday 5 (2-2).

A 1-0 home win against Villarreal on Matchday 4 was Pafos' first in the Champions League proper and a first for a team from Cyprus in the group stage/league phase since APOEL's 2-1 home success against Porto on 1 November 2011.

Pafos drew 0-0 in each of their first two away league phase fixtures, at Olympiacos and Kairat Almaty.
