S.S. Lazio forward Claudio López will be out of action for about a month after suffering a ligament injury in his left knee during the 4-0 UEFA Champions League Group G defeat against Chelsea FC yesterday.
Rome tests
The Argentina forward came on as a substitute in the 71st minute just after Eidur Gudjohnsen scored the visitors' second goal. He underwent tests today in Rome and has been ruled out of the derby against AS Roma on Sunday and the Champions League match against Besiktas JK on 26 November.
Bottom of the group
Lazio are currently bottom of Group G. They are level on four points with AC Sparta Praha, two behind second-placed Besiktas and five adrift of leaders Chelsea.
