Knockout draw next week

The UEFA Champions League first knockout round draw will be held at UEFA's headquarters on 12 December.

Draw regulations
Sixteen teams will be in the hat for the Champions League draw: the eight winners and eight runners-up from the group stage. According to the draw regulations, clubs from the same national association cannot be paired and nor can sides who faced each other in the group stage.

Eight qualified so far
Ahead of the final round of matches next week, eight teams have already qualified for the last 16: Real Madrid CF, Juventus FC, AS Monaco FC, Chelsea FC, Manchester United FC, AC Milan, FC Porto and VfB Stuttgart.

Match dates
Each group winner will play a runner-up, with the latter at home for the first leg. The first-leg ties will be played on 24 and 25 February next year, with the second legs on 9 and 10 March.
